Conquering Mt Kinabalu for the 4th time - Day 2

It's Sunday 11th January 2009 and the time is 2:20am in the morning. The temperature outside the resthouse is 7.9'C. According to our Guide, the temperature at the summit would be lower around 5 to 3'C.

Getting ready for the climb.

We started the final climb around 2:40am and it's very dark outside. nasib baik inda ada hantu. tantu ya kesejukan mun memakai kain putih

Every few 200/300 meters we stopped to rest. It was very cold and windy.

5:23am - we are at the top of Mount Kinabalu and it tooks us around 2 hours 40 minutes

6:11am - Group photo - Team Anakpanyu

6:02am - The Sun slowly rising

6:27am - Too many climbers at the top, so we decided to go back down to resthouse

Just follow the white rope

Descending the steep cliff using rope.

it doesn't really look dangerous & steep but in reality it is very dangerous.
this is just a camera tricks so that it look safe & fun
