| Conclusions | Registration is very expensive around BND298 but in term of travelling there is only one stop i.e KLIA. Hotel stay ranges from BND$354++ to BND$558++ (3Nights) and this hotel is within the race venue. Cheaper hotels are more available around KL and the most cheapest would be Hotel Tune at Air Asia LCCT (RM261.05) which is around 35mins drive to Race Venue. I would choose Ironman Putrajaya because overall it is much cheaper and less travelling. | Registration is way much cheaper compared to Ironman Putrajaya around BND63 but with all the transits and carrying around your luggage especially the bike, it will be much a hassle |

Bicycle ride 2 temburong
Next month (MAY), we are planning to cycle to Temburong via Limbang. The target date is on Sunday, 10th May 2009. The timetable of the event:
| 6:00am to 7:00am | round-up at Kuala Lurah Immigration Check point |
| 7:15am | expedition starts |
| 11:00am to 1:00pm | estimated time of arrival at Limbang and break for lunch |
| 1:00pm | Journey continues to Temburong |
| 2:30 to 3:30pm | arrived at Bangar, Temburong |
| 4:00pm | Journey back to BSB by boat |
There will be no transportation provided to Kuala Lurah nor an escort car will be provided during the journey. Bring along your spare tube, hand pump, water bottles, energy foods and etc. Lunch at Limbang will be at your own costs.
You can used Road Bike or MTB. I would be using MTB considering the road in Limbang and the boat trip to BSB. I don't want to get my bike scratch or 'injured' during the xpdc or while on the boat.
Jadinya siapa siapa yang berminat kan 'join' the group ride, just wait for us at the Kuala Lurah Immigration Check point. If there is any change in the date, I'll update it later

6 more weeks to Xterra and hopefully this week I will have more time to practice and trains compared the past few weeks due to work commitment - staying late after work.
It seems that my running is still under par. No matter how much I want to increase my run, still the mileage doesn't increase. Very frustrating.
Keep on running and hope for the best....................................

Week 14 - 30th March to 5th April 2009
Monday: Rest
Tuesday: Morning 5 km run and swimming in the afternoon
Wednesday: Morning MTB 21km
Thursday: Morning 10km
Friday: Morning MTB23.31km
Sunday: Morning road bike 32.89 and Morning Ultimate Frisbee
I have registered for the 1st Xterra Off-road triathlon in Kuantan Pahang Malaysia. Currently, I don't have a proper/very good mountain bike, so I just borrowed from my nephew GT Aggressor 3.0 (the bike that I used for PSK 2008) and upgrade some of the equipments.
From what I have learnt from my training for the Powerman and Triathlon, I've neglected my running training and I have suffered during the race. Maybe its the mindset - I'm a runner so less running and put more effort on cycling and swimming training. So now, reprogram the brain - More efort on running and run longer than 10km. I have 9 weeks to train for my Xterra. More running. more running and more running especially trail running.
Other than preparing for the Xterra, I'm currently involve in a new sport - Ultimate Frisbee. We have been playing for two sunday morning at Padang Kebajikan and its a very sweaty sports. A lot of running, jumping and frisbee throwing. Its very easy to throw the frisbee but its the game that is exhausting. Its like playing American football, Netball, Basketball all in one.
Ultimate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....................................
